1. NUTRITION – You CANNOT out-train a bad diet!
You need to be eating whole, fibrous, nutrient dense foods π π₯ Why? Because having abs comes from having a balanced amount of lean muscle mass and body fat on the body, and that balance comes from feeding your body the right foods to make that composition happen. Think Protein & veggies at every meal, plus 2-3 servings of healthy carbs/fats a day! This can be from sources such as avocados, nut butters, sweet potatoes, or oatmeal! Add some of those to your protein & veggies and watch your waistline shrink!
2. Resistance Training! πͺπΊ
Okay so hereβs the deal, do you want to be lighter??? Or TIGHTER. π― Lifting weights gets you BOTH. Those beautifully sculpted abs, arms, and tight lifted booty arenβt made on the treadmill. If you want your abs to be tight you need to do FULL BODY resistance training workouts. This is what tightens the skin, gets rid of cellulite, and adds that beautiful lean muscle ππ
3. Decrease your Body Fat %.
Revealing your abs all comes down to this point. Whether your toned core is showing or not all has to do with your body composition. Too much fat lying on top of your abs will hide the gorgeous muscles indefinitely. Get your body fat % down into the 20s and you will definitely start to see those beautiful waistLINES!! πππ
4. Add some core work π₯
Your abs are just like any other muscle, the more you develop them the better they will look. NO ab exercises are NOT NECESSARY to be able to see your core, but with my experience, the more ab exercises included in the program, the better condition they will be in.
